The first and
the most important step of being an ethical hacker is securing your computer
and network first, and in order to that you have to gain some basic knowledge
about the incoming and outgoing connection from / to your computer.
In this
tutorial I will demonstrate how you can find out if your computer has been
hacked or not, without downloading anything from the internet, just using a
simple tool comes pre-installed in windows OS called “netstat”, this tool can
tell you a lot about outgoing and incoming connections from outside to your
computer and much more than that, all we need from this tool in this tutorial
is to find out about the strange connection by finding the open connections and
which ports has been used to establish those connections
List of
common ports used in remote administration tools (RATS):
- - Bifrost : 81
- - DarkComet : 1604
- - NjRAT : 1177
- - Metasploit meterpreter : 4444
